President, Carrfour Supportive Housing

Stephanie Berman is the President of Carrfour Supportive Housing, a not-for-profit organization established by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce in 1993 to develop and operate innovative housing communities for vulnerable families through a unique approach combining quality affordable housing with comprehensive on-site supportive services. Under Ms. Berman’s leadership, Carrfour has housed more than 10,000 formerly homeless men, women and children. Prior to becoming President in 2006, Ms. Berman served as Carrfour’s Vice President of Resident and Property Services. She previously worked at the Children’s Home Society, where she served as Program Director of Emergency Shelter Services. Ms. Berman has received the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce R.E.AL Award and was recently recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as one of South Florida’s most influential business women. Ms. Berman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Brandeis University and a Master’s Degree in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
