Jeffrey E. Huber, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB is a Principal and Director of Urban Design and Planning at Brooks + Scarpa Architects, as well as an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University School of Architecture in Fort Lauderdale. His work focuses on projects that combine ecological, landscape, urban, and architectural design. His professional work and research have been published in numerous books and periodicals including Architect Magazine, Residential Architect, Metropolis, The Plan Journal and Architectural Record. Huber’s work has garnered over 100 national and international design awards. A recent project, Salty Urbanism, which provides a design framework to address future sea-level rise, won an Institute Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects. In 2017 Huber received the AIA National Young Architects Award, the highest individual honor bestowed on an architect in practice for less than 10 years. Huber earned his bachelor and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida and a Master of Landscape Architecture at Florida International University.
