Danicka Ransom, is the Assistant Human Services Director for Osceola County Government in Kissimmee, Florida. She is responsible for the oversight of the County’s Housing and Community Development programs including, Section 8, SHIP, CDBG, HOME, ESG, & NSP. She has 13 years of experience with affordable housing and 19 years of local government experience. She is originally from Lorain, Ohio and graduated with her B.A in Business Administration from Kent State University and later obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Aside from her work as a housing professional, she also serves on several community boards in Osceola County that serve vulnerable populations. Her passion for affordable housing is driven by the need to be a public servant and being a part of meaningful work that impacts the community as a whole. She currently resides in Central Florida and is a mom to her son Braxton and wife to her husband Steve.
