Bob Ansley, FAICP, is president of the Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (ONIC), a nonprofit development company that develops affordable housing in Central Florida. ONIC has developed or codeveloped 24 communities since 1989 containing 2857 housing units, and is a chartered member of NeighborWorks® America.Bob is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is a past president of the Nonprofit Housing Roundtable of Central Florida and the Orlando Section of the American Planning Association. In the 1980’s, he was chief of housing for the City of Orlando and manager of downtown planning. He served on the Governor’s Commission on Affordable Housing in 1993-94.Mr. Ansley has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University, a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed further studies in leadership at the JFK School of Government at Harvard.
