NANCY MEROLLA, Senior Vice President, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer joined Florida Community Bank, N.A. in May 2012. Merolla is an administrator with a proven record of success in administering public and private non-profit organizations serving the community’s needs. In her current position, Merolla, a well-recognized professional in the financial and social services arena, focuses on the Bank’s community reinvestment activities throughout Florida. Merolla has extensive experience that includes over 32 years in the banking industry, where she held such diverse positions as VP/CRA Manager for Comerica Bank, VP/Branch Management for Glendale Federal and VP/Non Profit Relationship Manager for BankAtlantic. Her work with non-profits covers a wide gamut of organizations, including seven years as President and CEO of Broward Housing Solutions. She has also worked with Broward Partnership for the Homeless and The Starting Place, Inc. In 2009, she was appointed Circuit Administrator of the Florida Department of Children and Families for Broward County. In April 2017, Ms. Merolla was named as one of the South Florida Business Journal’s Influential Business Women of 2017 for which she was nominated for her strong record of leadership, performance and innovation in the banking industry, and meaningful community involvement. Ms. Merolla has received multiple recognitions for her dedication and hard work in the Broward County community, where she has resided for over 50 years. She has a strong business background and has a proven record in establishing quality, efficient, and profitable healthcare, nonprofit leadership, affordable housing and related businesses. She continues today to serve on numerous Boards and Advisory Committees to support and empower our communities.
